LONDONDERRY, NH (June, 2009) Insight Tech-Gear, the world’s leading provider of tactical lasers, illuminators and thermal imaging equipment, has signed on as a stage sponsor for the International Defensive Pistol Association’s (IDPA) Carolina Cup championships being held June 18-20 at The Range in Oxford, N.C.

The Carolina Cup is one of the three major matches on the IDPA circuit. This year some 300 top-level shooters are expected to put more than 60,000 rounds downrange in their quest for the coveted Carolina Cup titles in the Stock Service Pistol, Enhanced Service Pistol, Stock Revolver, Enhanced Revolver, and Custom Defensive Pistol divisions.

In addition to sponsoring two stages in this year’s match, Insight Tech-Gear has also donated an M6X Tactical Laser Illuminator to be given away during the Team EOTAC Shooting Sports Clinic being held on Sunday, June 21 after the main match. The first clinic was held during the South Carolina State Championships and was a great success. Clinic organizers anticipate an even larger turnout in North Carolina.
